Children's Art Contest Registration Form
The 2008 Cotton Festival Children’s Art Show and Competition will be Saturday, September 13, 2008. We look forward to displaying the artwork from schools throughout Fayette County and we know the children enjoy seeing their creations displayed for all to see. The artwork will be displayed during the festival at the Bank of Fayette County Community Room on the Square.
Entries are to be in by Tuesday, September 9, 2008 by 4:00 p.m. at the Fayette County Chamber of Commerce, 13145 N. Main St. in Somerville. Please limit the size of art work to a maximum size of 12” x 18”. The theme will be cotton or cotton products. Categories will be: K-2nd & 3rd – 6th.
There is no fee to enter the contest.
Prizes for each category are: 1st place, $15; 2nd place, $10; 3rd place, $5; and one entry will be selected as Best of Show and will receive $25. Honorable mention in each category will receive a ribbon.
Entries will be limited to students enrolled in Fayette County Schools (Public and Private) and Home School students living in Fayette County only.
